Wednesday 25th March - 5:15pm
Interaction Ireland is a talk hosted by the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) to mark the official launch of the MA in Interaction Design. Drawing on the experiences of leading practitioners, the event showcases local work in the field and highlights the role of interaction design in everyday life
On the night faculty from NCAD will give an overview of the MA and there will be an opportunity to network and find out more about the programme following the talk. Speakers include leading industry practitioner Frank Long, Director of Frontend.com.
NCAD has developed a new 12-month taught MA in Interaction Design to commence in September 2015. The programme will be based primarily in a dedicated studio on campus with computer science and business components delivered in conjunction with UCD and the Smurfit Business School. Covering the theoretical and practical aspects of interaction design, the course will enable students to design from both a pragmatic and speculative perspective in the creation of experiences, products, services, environments, and systems.
